Werner will accompany Dejan Kulusevski and Son Heung-Min up front in 2024 once he completes his move back to the Premier League following a dismal spell at Chelsea. The German international will join Tottenham until the end of the season with an option to buy the forward for £15m in the summer written into the deal.
Spurs have now booked a medical for the RB Leipzig star, who could start training with them early next week provided he is given the all-clear.
