“Wrexham’s Fate Hangs in the Balance at Birmingham”

Published

on

HAVING the game moved to the Monday night doesn’t make a difference – this is still one of the most eagerly awaited Wrexham fixtures of the season!

Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenny’s amazing Wrexham stadium plans revealed and could fit ‘whole town’ insid

Wrexham had already won promotion to League One when Birmingham City were relegated from the Championship and it was always going to be one of the stand-out matches for a variety of reasons.

The Blues are the division’s big spenders, even putting Wrexham to shame, so it’s obvious why they were installed as promotion favourites before a ball was kicked.

But Phil Parkinson’s men were also fancied to do well and they have lived up to that billing after making a brilliant start to the campaign.

All that counts for nothing when the teams go head-to-head in front of around 30,000 fans at a sold-out St Andrew’s for a third tier game!

What an occasion it promises to be and Parkinson will expect his players to step up to the plate like they have done on so many occasions.

If they do, and Wrexham win, it will be a huge result even at this stage of the season but a draw wouldn’t be a bad outcome.

OUR PREDICTIONS:

BIRMINGHAM CITY 1 WREXHAM 1 NICK HARRISON

BIRMINGHAM CITY 1 WREXHAM 1 RICHARD WILLIAMS

BIRMINGHAM CITY 2 WREXHAM 2 SHAUN DAVIES

THE SCORES SO FAR… RICHARD WILLIAMS 7; NICK HARRISON 6; SHAUN DAVIES 5
