Wolves Revealed: This Is A Very “Complicated” Decision For The Star Player, But We Are…

Wolves standing firm with stance on player exit in January – Deal complicated for club

On September 30th, we covered claims from Spain which stated Pablo Sarabia isn’t happy at Wolverhampton Wanderers and Sevilla could consider signing him in the winter market.

Last month, Vamos Mi Sevilla FC reported the La Liga side’s officials dream of signing the 32-year-old. It was also stated they are looking to take him on a free transfer in January and this is only possible if Wolves were to terminate his deal.

Sarabia is in his final year of contract at Molineux and has settled for a limited role under Gary O’Neil this season, clocking in 180 minutes from five league games.

A fresh report from Vamos Mi Sevilla FC backs up the Andalusian club’s desire to secure the attacking midfielder’s services in the next window. The Spaniard knows the club very well as he spent three years at Sevilla before moving to Paris Saint-Germain in 2019.

His contract situation at Wolves and Sevilla’s need to strengthen the squad in January has seen their sporting, Victor Orta, set his sights on Sarabia.

Sevilla will ‘test the possibility’ of signing him, but the deal is complicated because Wolves wouldn’t be in favour of letting the player leave for free in January.

With Wolves standing firm, it would be ‘feasible’ for Sevilla to wait until next summer, to sign Sarabia on a free transfer.
