West Ham are not ready to pay the amount of Borussia Dortmund asking for Niclas Füllkrug

Niclas Füllkrug’s asking price of 30 million euros has been established by Borussia Dortmund.

According to netsport, the Black and Yellows want a fee of around 30 million euros to consider sanctioning Füllkrug’s sale. West Ham United, on the other hand, are not prepared to pay more than 25 million euros (including bonus payments)

The report adds Füllkrug has consulted with Germany head coach Julian Nagelsmann and his assistant coaches about a possible move to West Ham. And Nagelsmann is said to have advised him to make the switch, with the prospect of regular playing time on offer at West Ham.

While Füllkrug was Borussia Dortmund’s first-choice striker last season, the arrival of Serhou Guirassy from VfB Stuttgart could force him to settle for a spot on the bench in the coming campaign.

Playing for Germany at the 2026 World Cup is a goal for Füllkrug, and he is eager to get as much playing time as possible in order to make that a reality.

Whether West Ham United will be able to meet Borussia Dortmund’s asking price remains to be seen, but negotiations between the two clubs are expected to continue in the coming days. West Ham will hope to get the signing of Füllkrug over the line soon, with the start of the English Premier League season just over two weeks away.
