West Brown Gave “Complicated” Terms For The Deal Of Their Star, Will Everton Succeed

West Brom terms for Tom Fellows exit emerge as Everton consider last-minute transfer

Everton view West Brom attacker Tom Fellows as a cheaper alternative to Lyon attacker Ernest Nuamah, according to TEAMtalk.

The outlet reported on its website on Wednesday (28 August) that the Toffees are keeping tabs on the Baggies winger as they face competition from Fulham for Nuamah’s signature ahead of the transfer deadline.

Southampton had submitted a £10million offer for Fellows, but that approach was quickly rejected by Albion who are determined to keep the homegrown talent at The Hawthorns beyond the end of August.

The Baggies value the 21-year-old in the region of £15million and they could be forced to sanction his sale if their asking price is met by the Blues or any other interested party this summer

Will Tom Fellows exit West Brom amid Everton transfer rumours?

Everton have been in the market for a new wideman for much of the summer transfer window as Sean Dyche looks to address the lack of pace in his squad and provide some competition for Jack Harrison and Dwight McNeil.

Both Nuamah and Fellows would add that bit of spark to the Toffees’ ranks. The question will just be whether or not the Blues can afford to sign either player before the transfer window slams shut on Friday 30 August.
The Baggies man would certainly be much more attainable if West Brom are genuinely looking for a fee in the region of £15million because Lyon are understood to be holding out for around £25.2million for Nuamah [L’Equipe, 28 August].

With financial fair play concerns still circulating around Goodison Park as the ownership situation still remains unresolved, the Blues cannot afford to throw money around recklessly in the final days of the transfer window.

It will be interesting to see what decision Dyche and his recruitment team ultimately make before the 30 August deadline.

In other Everton news, a Neal Maupay injury update has emerged as the striker is linked with a last-minute Goodison Park exit
