The Foxes have been put through turmoil in their pursuit to bolster their attacking options this summer.

Attackers across the frontline have been targeted as a result of the limited options, which have been made much more drastic with the initial absence of talisman Jamie Vardy at the start of the 2024/25 Premier League season.

Kelechi Iheanacho also left following promotion from the Championship under former Foxes boss Enzo Maresca.

Leicester City were looking at bringing the likes of Matias Soule to the King Power Stadium, however he opted against a move to the Premier League in favour of Serie A side Roma.

Since Soule, Leicester City have now been issued another update on their ongoing pursuit of a Premier League attacker, which seems unlikely as a result of financial issues surrounding the club at this moment, despite sales of key players such as Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.

Leicester City had shown their interest in Arsenal attacker Reiss Nelson this summer, however any deal to bring the English winger to the King Power now looks unlikely as a result of a deal being too expensive, per Fabrizio Romano.

The Foxes were initially interested in the back-end of July, with Steve Cooper seemingly being a big fan of the winger, however, after being priced out of a deal, it will be unlikely to see Nelson sign for Leicester City this summer.

The 24-year-old winger, who has 49 Premier League appearances, joins a list of players who Leicester City have missed out on this summer, particularly attackers.
