Travis Kelce Reaction On Falcon Big Moved After six seasons

After six seasons as the starting quarterback of the Minnesota Vikings, veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins is on the move once again in NFL free agency, as he has agreed to a massive four-year deal with the Atlanta Falcons, who were determined to upgrade the position this offseason.

Halfway through the 2023 campaign with the Vikings, Cousins went down with a season-ending Achilles injury, which put his immediate future in jeopardy, as the consensus seemed to be that Minnesota was ready to go in a different direction at quarterback.

That said, there was no telling what the future held for Cousins, even after he had made a full recovery from surgery on his Achilles and was ready to resume his playing career in the NFL.

Fortunately for the veteran quarterback, the Falcons were adamant about bringing in an upgrade at quarterback this offseason and were clearly focused on landing Cousins in free agency.

Ultimately, that’s what happened, and Cousins continues what has been a very lucrative and successful career in the league, which has drawn high praise from Kansas City Chiefs superstar tight end Travis Kelce via the New Heights podcast.

“Shoutout to Kirk for getting another big payday and making the Atlanta Falcons, hopefully, a contender,” Kelce said.

With the addition of Cousins under center, the Falcons are well on their way to righting the ship in Atlanta, as the quarterback position has been a missing piece to the puzzle for the struggling franchise.

Desmond Ridder wasn’t cutting it for the team, so they landed one of the best quarterbacks available, who should make them much improved next season and beyond.
