THE BIGGER PICTURE

Florian Plettenberg reports that Gulacsi is set to stay for the second half of the season, with the 33-year-old keen to fight for the No. 1 spot through the remainder of the campaign. The report adds that there is even a chance he stays through the summer. as the Bundesliga side are extremely “satisfied” with his work of late.

For Turner, it’s brilliant news, especially considering the struggles the English side have had of late. From sacking their coach to financial fair play implications looming, there has been a lot going on off the pitch that has hindered the English side’s results. However, it’s now up to the USMNT shotstopper to start producing consistently and playing at the highest level possible.
