Tottenham eyeing £30m ‘tireless runner

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly looking to secure a hat-trick of signings in the January transfer window.

Spurs have hit the ground running this month, bolstering their attacking ranks with Timo Werner and signing Radu Dragusin for their defence.

Now, Tottenham are said to be in pursuit of a new midfielder this month as Ange Postecoglou looks to build on his good work in the first half of 2023/24.

According to Brazilian outlet Fla Web, Spurs are eyeing Wolverhampton Wanderers ace Joao Gomes and have signalled that they’ll make a bid for him ‘very soon’.

Wolves signed the 22-year-old just 12 months ago, bringing him to Molineux from Flamengo in a reported £15million deal.

The report claims that they have made it clear they will not let him leave for anything under £30million.

If Tottenham manage to get their hands on Gomes, they’d be getting a very exciting Premier League–proven talent with his entire career ahead of him.
