The Reds ‘reject’ transfer offer amid Serie A claim
Nottingham Forest have rejected an offer from Galatasaray for Orel Mangala, it is claimed. Reports claim the Turkish side have made an offer for Mangala, but Napoli are also said to have submitted a bid, along with fellow Serie A giants Juventus.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s arrival at the City Ground has seen Mangala’s game time limited. The 25-year-old started Nuno’s first game in charge, against Bournemouth, but he was hooked at half-time as Forest fell to a 3-2 defeat. His only minutes since have come as a substitute against Manchester United.
And according to claims by journalist George, the Reds have rejected an initial first offer from Galatasaray for Mangala. It is unclear whether the Turkish club are looking for a permanent deal or to loan the player.
Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri is claiming Napoli are “only” looking for a loan deal, and that Forest want to offload Mangala permanently this month. That contrast in stances could prove a sticking point for both clubs, perhaps paving the way for Galatasaray or Juventus to swoop.
