Steph Curry spoke to the media after Tuesday’s game.
On Tuesday evening, the Golden State Warriors faced off against the Lakers in Los Angeles.
The Warriors won the game by a score of 134-120, and four-time NBA Champion Klay Thompson led the way with 27 points.
Steph Curry finished his night with 23 points, seven rebounds, eight assists, one steal and two blocks while shooting 7/9 from the field and 6/6 from the three-point range in 32 minutes of playing time.
After the game, the two-time MVP met with the media and made an encouraging statement (h/t Warriors on NBCS).
Curry: “We had an up-and-down year, a lot going on, a tragedy on our team. All the mixing and matching of lineups and stuff. But we have a pulse, and that’s all we need.”
Curry turned 36 earlier this season, but is still among the best players in the NBA with averages of 26.4 points, 4.4 rebounds and 5.1 assists per contest while shooting 45.0% from the field and 40.7% from the three-point range in 72 games.
The Warriors are the tenth seed in the Western Conference with a 44-35 record in 79 games.
They have gone 8-2 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a two-game winning streak.
Following Los Angeles, the Warriors will play their next game on Thursday evening when they visit the Portland Trail Blazers in Oregon.
As for the Lakers, they are the ninth seed in the Western Conference and dropped to 45-35 in 80 games with the loss.
