Spurs signed the £25 million attacker after Chelsea failed to sign him.

News about a potential transfer for Antonio Nusa is really heating up – sadly for Chelsea fans, it’s links to Tottenham that are taking the lead now.

Sources like the Daily Mail are jumping on the story that Spurs are in talks with the attacker, who received a bid from Chelsea in the summer. He ended up staying at Club Brugge, where he’s carried on his impressive form from last season.

His club are said to want £25m, plus a loan back for the Norway international until the end of the season. That seems cheap, compared to what we were paying for wingers a year ago.

It would be a real shame to miss out on this talent and watch him tearing it up at Spurs now. Let’s hope that our sporting directors still have a trick or two up their sleeves – although perhaps that’s asking too much.
