REVEALED! Wolverhampton Released Statement About Their Star Exit In Summer “Swap Deal” Worth £45m And The…
Wolves fans warned over £14m star as ‘parting of ways’ suggested ahead of summer transfer window
Wolves are likely to be very busy this summer – and fans have be warned to brace for one high-profile player’s exit.
Vitor Pereira looks like he’ll keep Wolves in the Premier League.
It’s been a very difficult season, but the Portuguese’s appointment by Fosun looks to have paid off.
Wolves are nine points clear of the relegation zone now, and hopefully soon Molineux officials will be able to focus fully on the summer.
It’s likely that several big stars could be on their way out.
Nelson Semedo is likely to leave Wolves when his contract expires.
And the expectation is that Matheus Cunha will leave for the value of his release clause, with the Brazilian on plenty of clubs’ radars.
But one other player who could be on course to leave according to Liam Keen is Hwang Hee-chan.
Hwang Hee-chan could part ways with Wolves this summer
Hwang has not had the season he would have hoped for.
The South Korea international was a top performer last term for Wolves but this time around he’s scored just twice.
£14 million star Hwang (BBC Sport) has had more injury struggles.
But does not seem like the player he was last term, and journalist Liam Keen reckons this could be his last season at Molineux.
Speaking about his future in a new video for Shots TV, he said: “He does still have that quality, he does still have that goalscoring ability.
“But he’s really struggled this season. Now, he’s had the odd injury again, which is a consistent for him unfortunately. And something that a lot of people analyse with Hwang is that he looks like a player who is very much confidence-based. When he struggles, and when the crowd gets on his back – which at times has been unfair – he does seem to drop his head very very quickly.
“If he goes on and plays elsewhere he’s going to have to learn to deal with those situations. It does feel like maybe there might be a natural parting of ways coming relatively soon.
“The player is going to want to be happy. He’s not a player who causes any problems. But he doesn’t look particularly happy and he isn’t playing consistently and when he does play he isn’t performing consistently.”
Several clubs like Hwang Hee-chan
Hwang has cut a frustrated figure at times this season and has also looked despondent.
His injuries have hindered him, but he’s also just not been good enough at times.
It will be intriguing to see what happens with him this summer following these suggestions by Keen about the player.
Hwang is clearly Premier League-quality, but it may just be felt by both club and player that it’s time for him to move on.
Hwang is appreciated by several clubs and has been for some times. He clearly has traits that managers like, and that has also been the case at Wolves.
Very possibly, there could be a few bids for him this summer.
