Report: Man united considering an offer for Tottenham midfield target
According to Goal, Manchester United have emerged as contenders for rumoured Tottenham target Ederson, with the Red Devils now said to be considering making an offer to sign the Atalanta star.
Over the last few weeks, various outlets have reported that Tottenham are keen on adding a number six to their squad this summer and have identified Ederson as a target (Football.London).
However, the Lilywhites are not thought to be alone in their admiration for the Brazilian, with the likes of Atletico Madrid (Marca) and Barcelona (Mundo Deportivo) also said to be keen on the midfielder.

Goal have now suggested that Spurs could also face competition from the Premier League for Ederson, with United now thought to be eyeing a move for the midfielder.
The report says that while Erik Ten Hag’s men have ‘not yet opened talks’ to sign the 24-year-old, they are now seriously ‘evaluating’ a move for the player ahead of the summer.
The publication claims that Manchester club are now ‘considering sending a proposal’ to Atalanta and adds that ‘the situation may progress in the coming days’.

It is not surprising that the interest in Ederson is growing ahead of the summer. Atalanta tend to drive a hard bargain and they will be hoping to get a bidding war going for the 24-year-old so that his price gets pushed up to around £50m-£60m.
