Since making a triumphant comeback to WWE television, Roman Reigns has been booked to compete at the WWE Bad Blood premium live event this fall. This will mark his first time in action since WrestleMania XL.

It now appears that the WWE’s top attraction will also be seen in the two remaining premium live events of the year, Crown Jewel and Survivor Series, both scheduled to take place in November. The update came from Dave Meltzer as he spoke about the upcoming schedule of the former Universal Champion on Wrestling Observer and noted that he’s likely set to appear, both at the Saudi Arabia show and then the final Big-Four PLE of the year, respectively. The veteran wrestling journalist asserted that a face figure like Roman Reigns has been advertised for these two shows from the very beginning, and given their large-scale capacity, this status is unlikely to change.

Moreover, a future rematch between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes was also teased given that they’d continue to remain the two cornerstone figures of SmackDown as well as the WWE brand as a whole. “I got the sense that they want Roman Reigns to be the Bruno [Sammartino]…You don’t really put Bruno against [Bob] Backlund if Cody is the Backlund. They could team but there is money in a Cody/Roman match.” Meltzer believes that the only way that Reigns and Rhodes could meet in a match at WrestleMania is if Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson becomes unavailable from competing in the teased match between him and the Undisputed WWE Champion. For the time being, the two will be acting as allies at the Bad Blood premium live event set for next month by teaming up in a tag match against The Bloodline’s Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. Going by the above updates, Roman will then be seen in a match at Crown Jewel in early November in Saudi Arabia which will be followed by another in-ring appearance at Survivor Series on November 30 in Vancouver, Canada.
