Rangers star has ‘no intention’ of leaving as contract ticks down
The injury woes at Rangers have significantly impacted their season, with a substantial portion of the first team missing more than 30% of the games.
Philippe Clement, the manager, has pledged to address this issue, which has plagued the squad for the past two years.
One notable player affected is Zak Lovelace, a young striker from England, who has been sidelined for much of the season. Lovelace was integrated into the team during Steven Davis’s interim management but has struggled with injuries, limiting his contributions on the field.
Despite his injuries and speculation about a potential exit this summer, current reports suggest that Lovelace is committed to proving himself at Rangers. Contrary to some rumors, Lovelace still has a year remaining on his contract, dispelling concerns that he might leave at the end of the season. This clarification came after social media buzz, and even the Rangers supporters’ group Heart & Hand acknowledged that Lovelace is a talent worth retaining among those whose contracts are expiring.
Overall, while injuries have been a significant hurdle, the club and Lovelace seem focused on overcoming these challenges and making a strong comeback.
