Postecoglou says Spurs player is out for two months with a foot fracture

Ange Postecoglou has provided a Tottenham team news update ahead of tomorrow’s match against Wolverhampton Wanderers during this afternoon’s press conference at Hotspur Way.

Spurs return to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the second consecutive week, having beaten Brighton 2-1 last time out courtesy of Brennan Johnson’s late winner to send the North Londoners back into fourth place in the Premier League table at the expense of Aston Villa.

The victory, however, came with some concern with left-back Destiny Udogie having to be replaced in the second half after he looked to feel some discomfort in the back of his leg, while Pedro Porro was also spotted hobbling on occasions late in the match but did play the full ninety minutes.

Tottenham injury update vs Wolves

Both Porro and Udogie missed Spurs’ open training session at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Thursday lunchtime.

Such is the protocol, the media are informed of the availability of the Spurs squad ahead of the clash against Gary O’Neil’s side.

Postecoglou told the Tottenham media team that Udogie jarred his knee against Brighton and will miss the Wolves game, but it is hopefully not too serious. Porro picked up a strain in training and he will also be out for a couple of weeks.
