Former Arsenal and Aston Villa star Paul Merson has underlined the importance of the match for the two teams.
Both Brentford and Forest are in danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.
The Bees are only three points above the Premier League relegation zone, while Forest are four points clear of the bottom three.
Sky Sports pundit Merson has backed Brentford to pick up all three points from the encounter courtesy of a 1-0 win.
Merson wrote on SportsKeeda: “This is pretty much a cup final and I think everyone will be watching this football match. The big story for Brentford is the return of Ivan Toney, who is set to make his first appearance of the season after his ban. Arsenal and Chelsea have been linked with a move for the striker and I think both those teams will be watching to see if he’s still got it.
“I know he’s been training, but there is absolutely nothing like playing matches at the top level, so it remains to be seen if Toney makes a triumphant return for the Bees. He’s not really a leader of the same ilk as John Terry or Tony Adams, but he leads by example with his goals, like Harry Kane.
“These two teams are very much involved in the relegation dogfight, so they need to start putting points on the board. I think it’ll be a tight, nervy game like the clash between Burnley and Luton Town last weekend, but I fancy Brentford to get all three points.

My View: Nottingham Forest will win vs Brentford
In my opinion, Nottingham Forest will win against Brentford in London in the Premier League on Saturday.
Yes, Brentford are at home for the match and will also have star striker Ivan Toney back in action.
But, Forest, who are facing potential charges over alleged breaches of profit and sustainability rules (PSR), are in better form at the moment. Nuno’s side have won their last two Premier League matches.
On the other hand, Brentford have lost their last five league games. I do not expect today’s match to be great for the eye, but I am backing Forest to eke out a narrow win.
