Newcastle Will Move Towards Top Talent Before Window closes

Newcastle United plan to take action on their interest Rennes’ 18-year-old midfielder Desire Doue, who is also a target for Borussia Dortmund, before the transfer window closes.

The teenage attacking midfielder is a product of the Rennes academy and has 55 senior appearances under his belt for the club.

He has more than two years left on his contract, but Rennes are facing the prospect of losing him in the ongoing winter transfer window.

Borussia Dortmund are amongst the clubs who have made enquiries into the possibility of signing the youngster.

According to French sports daily, Newcastle have also put in enquiries for Doue.

The two clubs have all the information they need on the young midfielder at this stage of the window.

It has been claimed that Newcastle and Dortmund both intend to take action before the end of the transfer window to try to snap him up.

Rennes have not ruled out selling Doue if they receive a big fee for the young midfielder in the ongoing window.
