Guimaraes, a crucial player for Eddie Howe since arriving at Newcastle from Lyon in January 2022, has made 67 appearances, scored 11 goals, and has now committed to the club through the 2028 season; On Sunday in the Premier League, Newcastle and Guimaraes take on West Ham.
Bruno Guimaraes has signed a new five-year contract with Newcastle United.
After aiding the squad in avoiding relegation in the second half of the 2021–2022 season and then playing a significant part in the team’s top-four finish and run to the Carabao Cup final the following season, the Brazil midfielder has won the hearts of the local fans in Tyneside.
However, there have been rumors about his future in the summer, with moves for the 25-year-old being linked to Manchester City, Liverpool, and Real Madrid. With this contract continuing through 2028, it appears like St James’ Park will be his long-term home.
