Manchester United’s New Manager Explains Tactical Setup After Draw

The manager opted for a 3-4-3 formation, which was a bold tactical choice, and he detailed the reasoning behind it in his post-match interview.

“The 3-4-3 formation was selected to give us more control in midfield while also providing width in attack,” the manager explained. “We’ve been working on creating overloads on the flanks, which is why I chose to deploy three center-backs.
