‘Lots of potential’: Nuno says Nottingham Forest now have a youngster who is so versatile

Nottingham Forest manager Nuno has given his verdict on Giovanni Reyna.

Reyna joined Forest on loan from Borussia Dortmund in the January transfer window.

So, what has Nuno said about new Nottingham Forest player Giovanni Reyna? Let’s take a look.

Nuno praises Nottingham Forest winger Giovanni Reyna

Well, Nottingham Forest signed Giovanni Reyna from Borussia Dortmund in the January transfer window.

Forest secured the services of the USA international attacker on a loan deal until the end of the season.

Nuno is pleased that Forest could get the deal done and has outlined his potential.

Reyna can play as an attacking midfielder or as a winger and has turnd out 24 times for the USA.

BBC Sport quotes Nuno as saying about Reyna: “He is another option in offence. A very good player with lots of potential. He can play wide or central so gives us versatility we need.”

My View: Giovanni Reyna could flourish at Nottingham Forest

In my opinion, Giovanni Reyna could prove to be a good signing for Nottingham Forest. I believe that the 21-year-old could flourish at the City Ground.

Yes, Reyna was struggling for time at Borussia Dortmund this season, but he is only 21 now and has already played 90 Bundesligs matches.

That shows how highly he is rated. There is no doubt that Reyna has a lot of potential, and he could play a big role for Forest in the coming weeks and months.

Forest, who signed goalkeeper Matz Sels on deadline day, are in danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season. I think that Reyna could help the Reds avoid that.

There is speculation that Reyna wants to play as a number 10. It will be interesting to see whether Nuno deploys him in that role.
