Leeds are really serious into engaging in sitting forth in Championship while  to the Prediction of Carlton Palmer 

Former Leeds United star Carlton Palmer has insisted that he is still sticking to his prediction of the Whites being one of the favourites to get promoted to the Premier League this season.

Leeds are sitting fourth in the Championship after four games and are preparing for a big game on Saturday when they will host Burnley at Elland Road.

The Whites went into the campaign as one of the favourites to get promoted back up to the Premier League but they lost key players such as Archie Gray, Crysencio Summerville and Georginio Rutter from the team that lost the playoff final last summer.

Leeds did some late-window business to bring in new signings such as Manor Solomon, Largie Ramazani, Ao Tanaka and Isaac Schmidt towards the end of the season. Palmer had Leeds as one of the favourites to get automatic promotion and he is still sticking to that prediction.

Leeds are sitting in the playoff spots and Palmer insisted that it is far too early for the Championship table to take any shape.

He admitted that his early prediction of Luton Town being one of the teams in the top two is not turning out to be great given they have started the campaign poorly.

The former White conceded that Leeds have had a squad upheaval over the summer but the way they have started the season, he is still predicting the Yorkshire giants to get promoted to the Premier League.

“Looking at the table, I don’t really think it takes shape until after ten games”, Palmer told the Football League World.
