“He has come up (Idah) and a lot of people were asking questions of him before he came up but to score to massive penalties the way he did, credit to him.

“When you win the game everything changes around it and you think you were dominant in it, but Celtic were way below the standards they have set over the last two years. It was daylight robbery and they have got away with one tonight.”

On the second penalty in particular, where Joe Newell collided with Kyogo, Eilidh Barbour asked the panel of Neil Lennon, James McFadden and Boyd if they all agreed with Nick Walsh’s decision.

Boyd and McFadden nodded before Lennon said: “Joe just flies in there. I understand he is trying to block the shot but he catches Kyogo late and it’s in the box.

“I can understand the referee maybe misses it but when he sees it again he has got to give a penalty.”
