Notre Dame’s Jack Kiser shares high praise for Bengals DC Al Golden

After missing the playoffs this past season, Zac Taylor and the Cincinnati Bengals front office made sure to make as many changes as possible on the defensive side.

The Bengals moved on from Lou Anarumo and brought in Notre Dame defensive coordinator Al Golden.

Golden has spent time in Cincinnati before and officially made his return after helping lead the Fighting Irish to the National Championship against Ohio State.

Notre Dame has numerous defensive guys in the upcoming NFL Draft, including linebacker Jack Kiser.

Kiser recently had some glowing comments about Golden in his appearance on the podium at the NFL Combine.

“We never went into a game feeling that we weren’t prepared, and I think that’s an edge we had on defense. And then he’s such a cerebral guy,” Kiser stated.

Kiser is not the first player to openly speak about their love for playing for Golden, and I am sure he won’t be the last.

Golden has made it clear he plans to bring new energy to the defensive side for the Bengals, and based on these comments, he will have a fun and exciting unit on the field this upcoming season.
