The Miami Dolphins have the best wide receiver duo in the game with Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, and they could add even more firepower to that mix with Odell Beckham Jr.
The Buffalo Bills have been the team to beat in the AFC East Division for years now, and even though Stefon Diggs is coming off a down year by his standards, his connection with Josh Allen is still one of the best in the league.
On top of that, the New York Jets just signed Mike Williams to line up opposite Garrett Wilson, and they’ll have Aaron Rodgers feeding them the ball.
That’s why the New England Patriots can’t afford to keep falling behind.
According to a report by Jeremy Fowler of ESPN (via Savage Sports), they’re keeping tabs on Cincinnati Bengals star WR Tee Higgins.

“New England’s been high end shopping for receiver help, perhaps they give up a day 2 pick to get Higgins”

Apparently, they could even give up a day-two pick to land the Clemson product.
Higgins wants to stay with the Bengals, but he requested a trade after the team failed to reach out to him to try and get a new long-term contract.
The Bengals ceased all communications about a potential new deal after placing him under the franchise tag.
They must save money for Ja’Marr Chase’s impending record-breaking contract extension, and that’s a situation the Patriots need to make the most of.
The Pats had arguably the worst wide receiver corps in the league last season, and even though they still need to address their quarterback situation, they’re going to need someone to throw the football to as well.
