When your Los Angeles Lakers square off against the New York Knicks in Madison Square Garden tonight, they’ll face a Knicks squad missing its Day 1 starting frontcourt. All-Star power forward Julius Randle and starting center Mitchell Robinson remain shelved with their respective long-term ailments. Robinson was initially expected to miss the rest of the season after undergoing left ankle surgery, but appears to be on the mend. In his absence Isaiah Hartenstein has proven to be surprisingly adept manning the middle.

Randle, meanwhile, dislocated his right shoulder, and will miss several weeks.
