The list of major programs pursuing the Class of 2025 wide receiver from Sheffield High School in Memphis, Tenn., has continued to grow coming off his junior season. But he said Tennessee is one of the teams at the “top, for sure,” among the more than 20 schools that have extended offers to him, and he plans to visit the Vols again as early as this spring.
The 6-foot-1, 190-pound Jackson said he’s hearing from Tennessee “every day,” with coach Josh Heupel, wide receivers coach Kelsey Pope and senior offensive analyst Max Thurmond all staying in contact with him on a daily basis. The Vols made a good first impression on him during his visit Nov. 18 for their home game against Georgia, and they’re one of the teams standing out to him for multiple reasons.
