Pierre-Every PostEmile Hojbjerg and a departure from Tottenham are still being connected. The Danish midfielder is currently far from Spurs’ first choice, and there have been numerous reports that he may depart this month.Charlie Gordon has been talking about Hojbjerg’s predicament on The Spurs Chat Podcast. He believes that things could get better before the transfer window closes.

Although Hojbjerg is a favorite of many teams, Gordon asserts that this is not the case and that’s why we haven’t seen any significant progress in this area as of now.

Gordon revealed his knowledge of the £15 million man.

“Hojbjerg isn’t playing all that often, but I think he’s a really good player, so there’s definitely interest in him. Gordon stated, “We haven’t seen anything concrete happen there; it might be late January that we see something happen in that regard. He’s on a lot of transfer shortlists, but he’s not top of wishlists.”

Going into the last few weeks of the transfer window, this is definitely a situation to watch.

Hojbjerg’s departure from Tottenham might provide the team the funds it needs to make more transfers, and since Conor Gallagher’s connections aren’t going away, that move might be made again if Hojbjerg does go.

Speaking on The Spurs Chat Podcast, Charlie Gordon has been discussing Hojbjerg’s situation, and he says that this may be one that gets moving towards the end of the transfer window.

Indeed, Gordon says that while a number of teams do like Hojbjerg, he’s not top of many transfer shortlists, claiming that’s why we’ve not seen anything concrete happen on this front just yet.

Gordon shared what he knows about the £15m man.

“Hojbjerg is not playing regularly and I really rate him as a player, there’s real interest in him. He’s on a lot of transfer shortlists, but he’s not top of wishlists, which is why we’ve not seen anything concrete happen there, it may be late in January that we see something happen in that regard,” Gordon said.

This is certainly a situation to keep an eye on as we head into the final weeks of the transfer window.

A move for Hojbjerg at Tottenham could unlock the cash needed for Spurs to do more transfer business, and with links to Conor Gallagher refusing to go away, perhaps that move could be reignited if Hojbjerg does go.

Hojbjerg is a talented player who could be a star at another club, but currently, there isn’t much room for him in Ange Postecoglou’s side and it may be best for all involved if the midfielder makes some sort of move this month.

Watch this space as it sounds as though Hojbjerg could well be on the move towards the end of the transfer window.

Where Hojbjerg could end up remains to be seen, but there will certainly be plenty of stories around his future in the coming weeks.
