Forest’mentioned’ to the star of Dortmund who was replaced by Jadon Sancho

Jorge Mendes has suggested Nottingham Forest as a potential answer to Giovanni Reyna’s lack of game-time.

That’s according to ESPN who say the United States international wants to leave Borussia Dortmund this month and is already being offered to top European clubs.

Reyna has played only 320 minutes, spread over 12 games, for the Bundesliga outfit this season – which is why he is claimed to want out at the Westfalenstadion.

The American moved to Borussia’s academy in 2019 and has gone on to make 119 appearances for the club. However, after being injured earlier this term the winger has since been a bit-part player and the return of Jadon Sancho on loan certainly won’t help his cause.

That is why super-agent Mendes, who also represents Nuno Espirito Santo, is said to have mentioned a move to the City Ground – or Wolves – as potential Premier League solutions for the 21-year-old.

It is said Mendes is considering either a loan or a permanent move for Reyna and that Dortmund would want approximately €15 million. The report claims he has been offered to Ligue 1 outfits Marseille, Monaco and Lyon, La Liga clubs Real Sociedad, Sevilla and Villarreal as well as Benfica – with more expected to come forward.
