are close to signing Hamza Igamane who is “inching closer” to a move to Ibrox.

According to a report from Daily Record, the FAR Rabat attacker is close to becoming Rangers’ next summer signing, and the Moroccan club is already feeling his absence.

Moroccan media outlet Le Matin reported on 24 June that the 21-year-old forward will jet into Scotland in the coming days.

The exciting attacker is expected to sign a five-year deal at Ibrox. He will undergo his medical and then sign a new contract at Rangers.

Gary Morris of The 4th official said on his YouTube channel on 24 June that the attacker is expected to become the next signing for the Gers within 48 hours. Rangers have already agreed a deal worth around £1.5 million.

The Gers are also keen to land Yusuf Kabadayi, who is expected to land at Ibrox as early as Wednesday, that is, within the next 48 hours.

While Rangers have not officially confirmed the deal yet, the transfer is expected to go through after an AS FAR representative confirmed that the player is on his way to joining Ibrox.

He is a player with vast potential, but will he become the central striker at the club next season?

Rangers have signed four players already with Philippe Clement looking to make a wholesome change to the squad. The only problem is the Gers have shipped out senior players, and the new signings that have come in lack experience. Will they be able to handle the pressure at Ibrox?

Clement needs players who can make an immediate impact. Performing for the Moroccan league is one thing and replicating that at a big club like Rangers is another.

In all probability, Rangers will look to sign an experienced striker who is a proven goalscorer. It is really important to add players with experience as well if Rangers are to challenge Celtic for the title next season.

No one doubts Igamane’s potential, but he is mainly seen as a player for the future.
