Nottingham Forest are trying to find a buyer for midfielder Orel Mangala in the final days of the winter transfer window, Netsport.uk.

Forest have already rejected loan bids for the 25-year-old Belgian this month.

It is believed the Midlands club want a £20million-plus permanent sale amid a backdrop of Financial Fair Play concerns at the City Ground.

Mangala has been linked with European giants Galatasaray, Juventus and Napoli this month but no side has yet come forward with a suitable permanent offer.

The midfielder only joined Forest from Stuttgart in July 2022 but is already on the chopping block just 18 months later.

He has made 18 Premier League starts among 21 appearances across all competitions under Steve Cooper and Nuno Espirito Santo this season, scoring once.

The midfielder’s contract at Forest is set to run until June 2026.

The 25-year-old has been capped 12 times by Belgium at senior level and has played for his country in each of their last 10 games.

Nottingham Forest are also keen to get rid of on-loan striker Divock Origi this month amid FFP concerns at the City Ground.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side were charged with breaching Profitability and Sustainability rules earlier this month and face a potential fine or point deduction.

They sit 16th in the Premier League table with a four-point buffer to the bottom three.
