Blues make eight changes for Charlton cup clash

Blues have named their team to face Charlton Athletic in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday 13 August, kick-off 7.45pm.

Men’s First Team Manager, Chris Davies, has made eight changes from the opening day draw against Reading. Used substitutes versus the Royals, Keshi Anderson, Luke Harris, Emil Hansson, and Brandon Khela come in, along with Ryan Allsop and Christoph Klarer for their competitive debuts, with Tyler Roberts into the attack and Lukas Jutkiewicz captaining the side.

There are spots on the bench at The Valley for recent recruits Alfons Sampsted and Ayumu Yokoyama.

Starting XI: Ryan Allsop, Ethan Laird, Christoph Klarer, Dion Sanderson, Brandon Khela, Tyler Roberts, Marc Leonard, Emil Hansson, Keshi Anderson, Luke Harris, Lukas Jutkiewicz (Captain).

Substitutes: Bailey Peacock-Farrell, Alfons Sampsted, Krystian Bielik, Alex Cochrane, Paik Seung-ho, Koji Miyoshi, Siriki Dembele, Ayumu Yokoyama, Alfie May.
