Dragusin picks his side amids spurs and napoli

Napoli are on the prowl for a quality defender after missing out on Radu Dragusin and inquired about familiar names, such as Fiorentina’s Lucas Martinez Quarta and Rennes’ Arthur Theate. The Genoa star has made up his mind and will join Tottenham, which staved off a late push by Bayern Munich, Gianluca Di Marzio relays.

The Partenopei probed Nehuen Perez. Udinese don’t want to let him go since they won’t have their staple Jaka Bijol for a couple of months due to injury. They tried to expand the deal involving Lazar Samardzic, which caused the other negotiation to slow down too. The reigning Scudetto champions won’t have Natan for a couple of months due to a shoulder injury. In addition, they are mulling selling Leo Ostigard. The youngster was offered to Genoa in their unsuccessful bid to lure Dragusin.

Our Take on Napoli Seeking a Defender

They are right to pursue a young-ish player who’d be ready immediately. The problem is that they don’t grow on trees and clubs are reluctant to part ways with that kind of contributors. They’ll have to empty their coffers once they find an opening for somebody they like.
