Tottenham have accepted a loan offer from Plymouth Argyle for Alfie Devine.

According to Football Insider, the 19-year-old, who was recalled from Port Vale earlier today, is poised to undergo a medical with Plymouth in the next 24 hours.

The attacking midfielder made 26 appearances in all competitions for the League One side during the first half of the season, scoring three goals and assisting 3.

Having embarked on his inaugural loan stint at Vale Park, the young player, Spurs believe, is now prepared to make the transition to the second tier.

Initially reported by Lilywhite Rose on X, the midfielder is set to join Plymouth Argyle on loan for the remainder of the season.

And, as per Football Insider, the offer has been accepted and a medical is scheduled to take place in the next 24 hours.

Alfie Devine is highly rated at Tottenham. He has already played and scored for the first team in the FA Cup previously.

He has a total of 13 goals and 7 assists in 48 appearances for the Spurs U21s and it looks like the club is now preparing him for the first team with strategic loan moves for his development.
