Daniel Farke Reaction After The Press Comference

Daniel Farke’s Leeds United press conference is taking place at Portman Road after today’s clash with Ipswich Town. Follow everything the manager has to say about Saturday afternoon’s match below as we bring you most of the questions and answers in full from the debrief.

Before the match, Farke made three changes to the team which drew with West Bromwich Albion last Friday in the Championship. Joel Piroe received the paperwork he needed in time to make a full debut after arriving on Thursday night.

Luis Sinisterra and Wilfried Gnonto were immediately drafted into the starting line-up after their returns to training this week. Jamie Shackleton, Joe Gelhardt and Daniel James, who was missing from the squad with injury, dropped out.

The first half was arguably the best of the season so far. Five goals came and Leeds went in at the break with a 3-2 lead. Georginio Rutter and Piroe each scored their first United goals either side of a Gnonto strike on his return to action. However, defensive frailties were being exposed by the hosts.
