Breakthrough! VfL inBruneck: Start of the training camp
VfL Bochum 1848
Bruneck Kronplatz Tourism is proud to be the official top partner of the traditional football club VfL Bochum 1848.
The club from “Castroper Straße” will be holding its training camp in Gais this year from 28 July to 4 August 2024.
The press conference for the training camp, followed by an autograph session, will take place on Monday, 29 July at 6.30 pm at Tschurtschenthaler Square in Bruneck. Interested parties, all local press representatives and fans are welcome to attend.
From 28 July to 4 August 2024, VfL will prepare for the upcoming Bundesliga season with a training camp at the Hotel Windschar in Gais. For the fourth time, the team led by head coach Peter Zeidler will hold their week-long camp in the Dolomites Region Kronplatz, enjoying top training conditions amidst an impressive mountain backdrop. The tranquil, sunny location of the village of Gais, the proximity to the city of Bruneck with its medieval old town charm and diverse recreational opportunities, and last but not least, the excellent South Tyrolean cuisine provide ideal conditions for successful preparation.
In addition to the daily training sessions, there will also be a test match in Brixen (Raiffeisen Arena) and a triple tournament in Bozen (Drusus Stadium)

Additionally, this summer, the VfL FOOTBALL SCHOOL will be making a stop for the third time.
The youngsters aged 6 to 14 will once again be trained on the sports field in Uttenheim – a district of the municipality of Gais – just 2 kilometers away from the sports facility in Gais.
