BREAKING;Leeds United transfer failed

Paul O’Keefe has squashed rumours that Manor Solomon has failed his Leeds United medical ahead of his expected loan move from Tottenham.

Reporting via his personal X account (25 August) the journalist shared the last he had heard the Israeli winger’s camp had said everything was going to plan with the move.

It had earlier been reported that Solomon has completed his medical checks (Shay Lugassi), with an official announcement yet to arrive.

Manor Solomon could be the perfect addition for Leeds United

Leeds have lost a lot of their star players from the 2023/24 season with a squad that came so close to promotion seeing lots of top performers move on.

Players such as Georginio Rutter, Crysencio Summerville and even starlet Archie Gray [LUTV, 15 July] have all exited the club for pastures new.

And, whilst many fans thought that the extent of the club’s clear-out was quite extensive, it seems as if it has been counteracted with these new additions.

Indeed, Daniel Farke still ideally needs to add another midfielder to his ranks due to both Gray and Glen Kamara exiting but with the addition of Solomon their attack seems fairly stacked.

That is unless Gnonto also chooses to leave which would take the club a couple of steps back and on the lookout for an attacker once again.

Only time will tell what Leeds’ squad will look like come the 30 August deadline, but, one thing is for sure, if they fail to gain promotion once again, they could find themselves in a lot of trouble.

In other Leeds news, the Whites could sign a replacement for Patrick Bamford before 30 August.
