Oliver Glasner’s side had an early goal ruled out for offside that would’ve had the Selhurst Park crowd rocking in the right direction.

Just moments after that, Liverpool took the lead as Diogo Jota’s ghosting run allowed him to evade the Palace defence for a simple finish.

While the Reds were heavy favourites heading into the tie, they were far from comfortable as the Eagles went searching for a route back into the game.

Several big chances were put down and in the end, they were unable to grab a valuable point or more from the game.

The Crystal Palace faithful will have felt frustrated by that in the end, as well as a refereeing decision that seemingly went against them.
