Blues’ EFL Trophy dates confirmed
Birmingham City are competing in the competition for the first time since the 1994/95 season when they lifted the trophy at Wembley thanks to Paul Tait’s golden goal.
During the close season, Chris Davies’ side were drawn in Southern Section Group A, alongside Fulham Under-21s, Shrewsbury Town and Walsall, with the top two progressing to the Round of 32.
Blues’ fixtures have been confirmed for the Bristol Street Motors Trophy.
Blues’ Southern Section Group A fixtures are available below:
- Blues v Walsall, Tuesday 3 September, kick-off 7.45pm, St. Andrew’s @ Knighthead Park
- Shrewsbury Town v Blues, Tuesday 8 October, kick-off 7.30pm, Croud Meadow
- Blues v Fulham Under-21s, Tuesday 29 October, kick-off 7.45pm, St. Andrew’s @ Knighthead Park
