Anthony Davis is on the injury report update situation

On Monday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers will be in North Carolina to face off against the Charlotte Hornets.

For the game, 2020 NBA Champion Anthony Davis is listed as questionable on the injury report.

Davis has played in 47 games and is averaging 24.7 points, 12.2 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.1 steals and 2.4 blocks per contest while shooting 55.1% from the field and 30.9% from the three-point range.

The Lakers are the ninth seed in the Western Conference with a 26-25 record in their first 51 games.

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and are 6-4 over their last ten games.

Most recently, the Lakers beat the New York Knicks by a score of 113-105 at Madison Square Garden.

In 36 minutes of playing time, Davis had 12 points, 18 rebounds, five assists, one steal and four blocks while shooting 4/12 from the field and 0/1 from the three-point range.

Following the Hornets, the Lakers will return to Los Angeles to host Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets on Thursday evening.

As for the Hornets, they are the 13th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 10-38 record in their first 48 games.

They are in the middle of a seven-game losing streak and are 2-8 over their last ten games.

Following the Lakers, the Hornets will remain at home to host Dennis Schroder and the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday evening in Charlotte, North Carolina.
