Leicester City’s Kasey McAteer is said to have attracted the interest of Tottenham Hotspur.

Spurs raided the Foxes in the summer to sign star man James Maddison, following City’s relegation from the Premier League. And Ange Postecoglou’s side are now understood to be interested in young winger McAteer.

The 22-year-old has made his breakthrough at the King Power Stadium this season, helping Enzo Maresca’s side to the top of the Championship. McAteer has scored four league goals in 13 appearances and he also scored against Liverpool in the EFL Cup in September.

And Ben Jacobs claims his form for Leicester has sparked interest from Tottenham. Speaking to Spurs Chat Podcast, he said: “The other player Tottenham are looking at, a different type of player to the ones we have mentioned is Kasey McAteer at Leicester, they really like him.”
