Now, it seems West Brom are closing in on another solid signing.

According to a report from the Express and Star, a deal for Barnsley utility man Callum Styles is moving close to completion. Advanced talks are underway and it is hoped that they can reach a successful resolution before the window slams shut at 11pm on August 30th.

It would be a permanent move to The Hawthorns, who has spent two spells away from League One side Barnsley on loan.

After a spell with Millwall last season, Styles spent the second half of the 2023/24 campaign at Sunderland.
