A Terrible Thing Revealed About Mark Pope Made His “Diehard Fans” To Give Up And Conclude That He Is The…

and Kentucky have the best transfer class in the country

Mark Pope won’t just have his first Kentucky Wildcats-recruited 5-star talent joining the team in Jasper Johnson next season but will accompany the rising star with a slew of experienced players, many of which were at the top of the transfer portal.

Much like last season, which was more out of a force than desire, Pope built out his roster after filling John Calipari’s shoes with numerous transfer players, and next season’s roster will look much of the same.

Pope will couple those incoming players with star freshmen to have a solid mix of high-potential players and experienced veterans.

That said, many of the players that are transferring in were widely coveted, helping Kentucky have the No. 1 transfer portal class according to On3. Michigan came in second and Texas, the first SEC team other than Kentucky, sits in third.

For the Cats, their top incoming transfer player is Jayden Quaintance from Arizona State, ranked as the 4th-overall player in the class. Jaland Lowe and Mouhamed Dioubate were both top-70 prospects while Kam Williams and Denzel Aberdeen were both top-100 players that were set to transfer.

Quaintance and Dioubate will be key in replacing talent lost in the Cats frontcourt, and without Andrew Carr, there will be big shoes to fill. As for Lowe, he’s expected to be a primetime scorer, and without Lamont Butler, that will be necessary as well.

The holes are there to be filled, and Malachi Moreno, Jasper Johnson and a slew of returning players will be able to help craft a team that should be as good if not better than the product Pope put on the court this season
