3 Rangers stars in team of the week under Neil Warnock for Sky Sports pundit
Kris Boyd has named three Rangers players in his Scottish Sun team of the week after their Scottish Cup win at Hibs.
The Sky Sports pundit put Easter Road goalscorers Fabio Silva and John Lundstram in his picks on 12 March, along with defender Connor Goldson, in a team managed by now-former Aberdeen boss Neil Warnock.
The Light Blues qualified for a semi final clash with Hearts from a controversial game against Hibs, as the Jambos were also joined by the Dons and Celtic in making it through to the final four.
As well as Warnock, Boyd named three Aberdeen players, plus two Hearts men, a pair of Hoops, including hat-trick scorer Daizen Maider as star man, with only Greenock Morton’s Lewis Strapp included from the losing sides.

Philippe Clement’s men came through a bruising encounter with the Hibees where the home side finished with nine men.
The refereeing decisions caused controversy in some quarters, while there has been fallout off the pitch over behaviour in the stands.
Two more Gers men went off injured after Ryan Jack was ruled out prior to kick off, as the weakened Rangers squad depleted even further.
So in the circumstances it has to go down as a job well done from the players, just three days after securing a strong draw away at Benfica in Europe.
Lundstram followed in James Tavernier’s saved penalty to put the Gers ahead in the first half, after Dujon Sterling had been felled by Jordan Obita, and Silva made the game safe late on with a well-taken goal.
Goldson is perhaps more lucky to get the nod for Boyd’s team of the week, but a clean sheet in difficult circumstances isn’t to be sniffed at for the centre-back.
That Warnock was picked as coach though makes the fact that he resigned at Pittodrie immediately after their 3-1 win over Kilmarnock all the stranger.
