Striker in ‘negotiations’ over Nottingham Forest transfer
It’s said that Nottingham Forest approved a second move.
It is believed that the Reds and Alanyaspor have reached an agreement over South Korean attacker Hwang Ui-jo.The 31-year-old will play the remainder of the season on loan with the Turkish team, according to Sports Digitale.
“A deal was made between Alanyaspor and Nottingham Forest to move Ui-jo Hwang. With the player, Alanyaspor initiated formal negotiations,” Sports Digitale’s Yağız Sabuncuoğlu stated on X.
Ui-jo was loaned out to Olympiacos, FC Seoul, and Norwich City before moving to the City Ground from Bordeaux in August 2022. Since then, he has not participated in a single competitive match for Forest. Although it was anticipated that he would remain at Norwich for the entire season, his loan was terminated.
Now that Joe Worrall has joined Besiktas on loan for the remainder of the season, it appears that he will be joining Worrall in departing Forest for Turkey. On Monday, the defender’s exit was officially announced.
