So Embarrassing , Alan Rogers suprised By decision

Alan Rogers has been left stunned that Brighton midfielder Jakub Moder wasn’t shown a red card yesterday for a horrible tackle on Nottingham Forest star Neco Williams.

The former left-back has taken to Twitter this morning to speak of his bemusement over the incident.

So, what did Rogers make of the tackle that should have seen Brighton down to 10 men against Forest? Let’s take a closer look…

Well, it would appear as though Forest have been done again – and they should have spent considerable time playing against a man less in this one.

Moder’s tackle was out of control, used excessive force and saw Michael Salisbury wield a yellow card on the field.

VAR was Craig Pawson and he bizarrely didn’t deem it bad enough to overturn the yellow in favour of a red – to the bemusement of everyone associated with Forest.

Rogers can’t believe what he’s watched in the Forest game this morning, with the former defender incensed that further sanction wasn’t taken. He Tweeted:
