Nottingham Forest are interested in Hellas Verona winger Cyril Ngonge, it is claimed.

The Reds are said to be one of several teams interested in the 23-year-old. Aston Villa, Napoli, AC Milan and Florentina have all been linked with the latter reportedly having a €10million bid turned down.

It is claimed that Verona are asking for between €12m and €13m for Ngonge with the forward said to be one of the players available for transfer as the Italian club look to raise funds from player sales.

And now according to netsport.uk, via SportWitness it is reported that one of the clubs interested in Ngonge is Forest. The story adds that Napoli have also “requested information” to a view of possibly signing him.

The Reds currently only have two wingers in Anthony Elanga and Callum Hudson-Odoi so it could be a position they may look to strengthen.

However, Nuno Espirito Santo has tended to favour a 4-2-3-1 in his early days as Forest boss with the use of wide midfielders over players who predominantly play on the wing like Ngonge.
