Nottingham Forest gain Another Chance To Promote Their Team  Fast

Nottingham Forest now have the perfect chance to seal an emotional return for Chris Cohen to come back to the club. The coach left in 2021 to link up with Nathan Jones at Luton Town.

Chris Hughton didn’t make nearly enough of an effort to retain Cohen at Forest at the time. The man who made 303 appearances for the team ought to have been given a role from the minute he made the decision that he wanted to try out men’s coaching.

Instead, Forest allowed Cohen to walk off into the sunset and embark on some work that has seen his coaching stock rise considerably.

Forest now have perfect chance to bring Cohen back

It was announced yesterday that Jamie Robinson has now left Steve Cooper’s coaching staff. He’s headed off to focus on a coaching consultancy business that he’s been doing on the side for a number of months.

The Reds now have room for an additional coach as a result. The contemporary Forest hero Cohen is not employed full-time at the moment, but in recent weeks, he has been observed assisting Lincoln City interim manager Tom Shaw.

Working with Cohen under Forest head coach Cooper would be ideal. Like the Reds’ manager, he is still in the early phases of his coaching career, and the 43-year-old may teach the man who served the team with distinction a lot.

As a result, the Reds now have space for another coach. Currently, modern-day Forest hero Cohen is out of full-time work; although he has been spotted helping interim Lincoln City boss Tom Shaw in recent weeks.

Cohen would be absolutely perfect to work under Forest head coach Cooper. Much like the the Reds’ boss he’s in the early stages of his career as a coach and the man who served the club with distinction would learn a lot from the 43-year-old.

Cohen would be welcomed back with open arms

Such a dude. A specific age group of supporters will always consider Cohen to be their favorite Forest player. He always gave it his all in the Garibaldi, and he would have played in many more games if it weren’t for three major knee injuries.

Naturally, it’s unclear what Cohen wants to pursue in the future. Maybe he wants to try his hand at self-management. Another theory is that he just waits for Jones to reenter management before reestablishing contact with him.

Still, the 36-year-old is really attached to Forest. He’s been spotted both at home and away from games since the team’s Premier League comeback, so it goes without saying that he would be thrilled to be back.
