Much cry from Nottingham forest supporters about £20m Deal sign

1. Nottingham Forest fans have really taken to Brazilian defender Murillo and now there is a cry from supporters to sign a perfect defensive partner for him.

Murillo announced himself to the Premier League with a brilliant maiden campaign in the top flight.

He was handed a surprise debut in October against Brentford and was ever-present in the Premier League from that point.

The challenge for both Steve Cooper and Nuno Espirito Santo was to find a player capable of playing alongside him.

Willy Boly was a safe pair of hands defensively but found himself injured more often than not last season.

Elsewhere, Andrew Omobamidele was handed some game time under Espirito Santo, with Moussa Niakhate also getting the nod to play alongside Murillo.

Next season it would surely be in Espirito Santo’s best interests if Forest had a more consistent partner for Murillo.

Now, Forest fans have found just the man for the job.
